Geometry Classes
Master Geometry with Our Expert-Led Math Enrichment Programs
Is your 7th or 8th grader ready to excel in high school math and beyond? Our Geometry classes at North Texas Math are far more than a standard course. They are a comprehensive math enrichment program designed to build a deep, lasting foundation in logical reasoning and spatial understanding.
We move beyond rote memorization, focusing on the critical thinking and advanced problem-solving skills that prepare students for success in high school, college, and future STEM careers.
Our Two-Level Geometry Classes: A Path to Mastery
To ensure true comprehension, our Geometry curriculum is divided into two progressive levels. This unique structure provides students significantly more time to absorb and master complex concepts compared to the standard, condensed one-year high school course.
Beginning Geometry Classes: This class introduces students to the foundational concepts of geometry. Students build a strong base in points, lines, planes, angles, triangle properties, and the fundamentals of logical proofs. This class is the ideal starting point for 7th and 8th graders.
Intermediate Geometry Classes: Building on the first level, this course dives deeper into polygons, circles, transformations, 3D figures, and more complex proof-writing and problem-solving.
By the end of this math enrichment program, students are exceptionally well-prepared to advance to subjects like Trigonometry or Advanced Geometry Classes. (Please note: these advanced courses are not currently offered at North Texas Math).
More Than a Class: The North Texas Math Advantage
Our teaching philosophy is what sets our geometry classes apart. We believe in introducing key concepts earlier than traditional programs and reinforcing them over a longer period, which ensures deeper understanding and long-term retention.
Why Choose Our Geometry Classes?
Small-Group Instruction: Our small class sizes guarantee personalized attention, allowing instructors to focus on individual student needs in a supportive and collaborative setting.
Problem-Solving Focus: We emphasize the how and why behind the math. Students build confidence and improve critical thinking as they learn to tackle challenging, non-routine problems.
TEKS-Aligned Curriculum: Our program is fully aligned with the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) standards for Grades 7–8 and High School Geometry. We ensure your student is meeting and exceeding state requirements. You can review these standards directly at the Texas Education Agency (TEA) website.
Builds a Genuine Interest: Our instructors balance rigorous content with engaging activities. We help students build both skill and confidence, fostering a genuine interest in mathematics.
Prepare Your Student for High School and Beyond
Whether your child is preparing for advanced math, aiming for academic excellence, or simply needs a stronger foundation, our Geometry classes provide the tools and support to help them succeed. This math enrichment program is the perfect way to build a solid mathematical foundation that supports all future academic success.
