Introduction to Algebra and Geometry

Our Introduction to Algebra and Geometry classes are carefully designed to help students transition smoothly from elementary math to more advanced topics. These math programs provide a strong bridge between foundational skills and higher-level problem-solving, ensuring every child gains the confidence and ability to excel in math. If you’re looking for math help for kids that goes beyond memorization, this is the perfect next step.

While these classes are primarily suited for 5th and 6th graders, they are not strictly grade-based. Just like our Foundation Math Classes, enrollment depends on readiness and mastery—not age. If your child has already grasped key foundational concepts such as fractions, ratios, and basic equations, they are welcome to join, regardless of grade. Likewise, if a 7th grader needs to strengthen core skills before moving into advanced Algebra or Geometry, this program offers excellent math help for kids who need extra support.

Our curriculum focuses on developing deep conceptual understanding rather than rote memorization. Students engage in hands-on problem-solving, logical reasoning, and real-world applications that nurture critical thinking and mathematical confidence.  

We also draw inspiration from educational leaders such as the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM) and the Khan Academy Algebra and Geometry programs, both of which emphasize reasoning, connections, and multiple representations of mathematical ideas.
